Hyundai’s recently activated “fluidic sculpture” corporate design philosophy has resulted in some very handsome vehicles—witness the newTucson and Sonata—but even in the principles at its very core, it is basically a copy of Mazda’s “Nagare” style. If there is one way for a copycat to silence critics, however, it is to best the original.
