Now the ford also coming with small car named as FIGO will be introduced in India by 1st qtr 2010, the figo is of new style and introducing with a fresh look in India.
They are introducing with petrol and diesel version, petrol is of 1.2 and a diesel is of 1.4 version.When compare to other small cars this is bit specious interiors its as like as fiesta, its with a large head lamps and even large front air dam appear disproportionate on the sporty and compact front end.the rear look is as of fusion but its with a spoiler. The ford figo may compete with skoda fabia,i20 and with punto.we are waiting for it let us see the detailed specification and performance of the engine after release in 2010.
The ford India doubled their production plan and they have a plan to plant capacity up to 2 lks units per year as a small car center in Chennai with high quality, innovative and Eco friendly production techniques.
